Every year more people come to enjoy the gardens and our delicious food!
Though 2020 was a more challenging year our tea rooms still saw many visitors enjoying our food in the gardens. We continued to provide delicious afternoon teas, soups, sandwiches and of course cakes to die for in a more Covid friendly style. Gone was the china and old fashioned layered cake stands this year but it will be back.
Maynard’s Farm Kitchen had a great season at Hodnet Gardens despite all this with many visitors enjoying our food in the gardens.
Classically trained, Fiona set up the catering side of Maynard’s Farm when the family relocated to Shropshire in 2001. From her commercial kitchens based on the farm she produces inspiring food that is presented in a relaxed, fresh and irresistible way.
